What to include in your installation request
- Vehicle year, make and model, plus tire and wheel sizes.
- Whether the tires are loose, already mounted or being purchased from the shop.
- Mounting, balancing, valve or TPMS work and disposal to include in the quote.
- Any wheel damage, fitment changes or locking-wheel-nut hardware to mention before the visit.
When this service fits your request
- Installing a new or replacement set of loose tires.
- Fitting customer-supplied tires after acceptance and compatibility are confirmed.
- Replacing tires on existing wheels; complete mounted seasonal sets use a different changeover service.
What affects your quote?
Ask for an itemized quote based on your vehicle and the work needed.
- Number of tires and tire/wheel dimensions.
- Mounting and balancing requirements, and any valve or sensor work.
- Condition of the wheels, disposal and applicable tax.
Before bringing a set, check the tire size and rating guide and confirm fitment with the shop. Seasonal tires that share one wheel set use an off-rim changeover with mounting and balancing.
How to arrange your visit
Share your vehicle details
Tell us the year, make and model, along with the service or symptom. Use the quote checklist on this page to include the relevant details.
Review the quote
Discuss any assessment needed, the proposed work and what the total includes.
Confirm a service time
Arrange your visit directly with the shop. An online inquiry requests a response and does not reserve an appointment.
Common questions
Is installation the same as a seasonal changeover?
Loose tires must be mounted on wheels. A second seasonal set that already has its own wheels can use an on-rim changeover. Tell us which setup you have when asking for a quote.
Can I bring tires purchased elsewhere?
Call before arriving with tires purchased online or from another seller. Share the vehicle, tire size, condition and wheel details so the shop can confirm acceptance, fitment and the mounting-and-balancing quote. Specialty fitments need separate confirmation.
Does installation include balancing?
Ask for the actual quote breakdown. Confirm mounting, balancing, valve or sensor work, disposal and tax rather than comparing tire-only and installed prices.
